I’ve had the honor to try out a TON of Olive and June colors since around the start of quarantine. (I even have an entire playlist related to nails now ?) I first purchased from Olive and June because I saw all of the hype online and wanted to see if I felt this praise was well deserved.
If you read my blog post on their fall colors, you already know how I feel about this brand. Their marketing is super inclusive (as it should be!) and their nail polish is high quality and super long lasting. That’s not to say that I love everything they create. As I’ve mentioned before, I am not a fan of the poppy, but I could see how it helps people who are not used to painting their nails or may have a disability. Overall, Olive and June is a brand I continually turn to and recommend. If you don’t want to take the plunge and buy an entire set, I recommend you pick up a bottle of polish and their top coat (their top coat is magical, I use it with my other polishes as well) at your local Target and see if you like it.
Here are how their Spring colors look like on someone with my skin tone! I also have a video version of this review. Get $10 off your first purchase of $50+ of Olive and June by using my link, fbuy.me/v/ninarachelthomas. This set was sent to me by Olive and June but I have purchased their mani set on my own, fall 2020 colors and even recently purchased their pedi set on my own as well. (Let me know if y’all would want a review on the pedi system!)
I LOVE this color. I have one other Olive and June color somewhat similar to this pale blue shade that I picked up a while back at Target. I feel like any sort of ‘pale’ color has a very ‘clean’ and put together look for me.
Initially, Cockatoo was my favorite color. It looks paler but dries with a softer and more opaque pink color that I am actually currently wearing.
Pink Sands reminds me a lot of Fiji by Essie. Every girl needs a standard pale pink polish in their closet and this is a great option if you’re looking for a new bottle.
This color is a little bit brighter than what I am comfortable wearing, but even looking at this photo, it makes me feel like I’m on vacation. My heater is still running out in New York, but I look forward to wearing this color when it gets warmer, or maybe even for the summer.
This color gives me flashbacks to when I painted my entire childhood room a color exactly like this. Super vibrant, but not my usual go to color to wear.
Our last Spring color! Again, super vibrant and stunning but a shade that I see myself wearing for some sort of special occasion or while away for vacation.
Which of these colors do you like the best? Are you more a fan or more subdued Spring colors or brighter ones?
Love always,
